Dan Toren (דן תורן) was born in 17 in October 1960 in the kibbutz Rosh Hanikra. Toren is a rock singer, radio broadcaster and an Israeli actor. In 1984, after incentives from Mickey Shaviv, Toren began to write his first songs and took part in the bands "Shunra" and "Balagan". Many of his texts became known hits like " Gidi" and "cinema" by Sharon Lipshitz, "On the day of the bomb" and "you sing on the radio" by Rami Klinshtin, "Abroad" by Balagan and "you not touching" by Judith Rabits.
